Accessibility

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 require that 91²Ö¿â ensure that its programs, services, goods and facilities are accessible to individuals with disabilities.

91²Ö¿â, in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, does not discriminate on the basis of disability in administration of its education-related programs and activities, and has an institutional commitment to provide equal educational opportunities for disabled students who are otherwise qualified.

Website accessibility

91²Ö¿â is committed to making its websites and other electronic information and services accessible to all, regardless of disability. There are three simple reasons for doing this:

  • It’s the right thing to do.
  • It’s the smart thing to do.
  • It’s the law.

The University website is continually undergoing improvements so that it is not only accessible to all visitors, but also provides a positive user-experience on different devices such as personal PCs, tablets, and smartphones. The 91²Ö¿â website has been optimized for viewing on supported browsers, therefore if older or unsupported browsers are used to view www.indianatech.edu, the website may not function and display correctly.

Websites in the University’s web space that are personal or relating to other groups, such as student clubs or blogs, for which the University does not control content do not fall under the University’s legal mandate to make its websites accessible. Still, University employees and other groups using the University’s web space are strongly encouraged to make their sites accessible.
