Robotic Warriors Club

The Robotic Warriors Club is a yearlong (16 weeks) after-school program where middle school and high school students will receive hands-on experience in designing, developing, programming and constructing robots.

A primary goal for this club is to prepare student teams to enter one of their own robots in the annual National Robotics Challenge (NRC) in Marion, Ohio. 91²Ö¿â has supported teams in the NRC since 1995 and has a long history of winning at this competition. This year’s NRC will be April 17 through 20, 2024.

The program has two divisions—an introductory division for seventh- and eighth-graders to introduce them to the basics of robotics through Mazebots, and an advanced division for eighth- through 12th-graders that will guide them toward advance robotic design and programming. Students will receive two hours of instruction every other Wednesday from 91²Ö¿â engineering faculty and advisors who are experienced in robotics.
